Tribute to Achille Perilli
Perilli’s art revolved around the recreation
of geometric figures that embodied ambiguity,
being both open and closed at the same time,
expanding outwards to create spaces existing outside
of reality. They consist of flat surfaces that appear
irregular and even incredible to our eyes, unfinished,
as though they belong to an entirely abstract dimension.
With his recent passing, the art world has lost one
of its greats: a true master of Italian abstract art, a
painter of impossible and irrational geometries.
